Hi!

I am Andréanne Laframboise, psychologist and member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. It's important to me to share who I am and how I work during my sessions.This is what I would like to know before starting such a personal journey. 

My therapeutic approach aims to cultivate resilience, compassion, connection, mindfulness, vitality and personal growth in order to create real and lasting changes. It is based on different therapeutic approaches such as existential-humanistic, sensorimotor therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion, and acceptance and commitment therapy. 

My role is to meet you and accompany you exactly as you are and where you are in your life. No matter what you are going through, I seek to respect your rhythm and your needs, to create conditions to explore and reflect in order to foster the difficulties and cultivate a fulfilling and meaningful life. 

My intention is to create a safe, collaborative and non-judgmental space where change and personal growth can be experienced in an engaged, authentic, conscious, playful and compassionate way

My intervention style is interactive. You are not alone in this journey. I actively support you in the exploration of your experience, share my thoughts and contribute to the meaning making of your experience and to the development of alternative strategies in the face of the difficulties you are experiencing. 

When deemed relevant, I suggest resources related to the themes we are exploring. That being said, it is important to me that these do not become "homework" -- another task to perform or to accomplish on your 'to-do list' -- but rather that they are heard and received as an invitation to do things differently.
